Both Elliott and Suarez backup cars through tech. They go back to the garage to set shocks and remove struts used during tech. They will be pushed to the grid soon.

I feel your pain! That’s why I don’t save as many as I used to. I’ve been burned before. Unfortunately we have to try to figure which races a driver is going to be good. Sure wish they would cooperate!

Tech is complete. Blaney car was disqualified because the left front shock didn't meet overall specified length. Blaney is now 56 points below the cut line.

Brad Moran, on SiriusXM's NASCAR channel, said they realized Monday morning that a piece had shifted on their template (by a very small amount). He said they also took the Penske shock apart and it was good. The other teams' shocks were past the minimum so they all would be good.
