No multiple failures in prequalifying/prerace Cup tech. Two failures this week would have meant a crew member ejected and three failures would have meant not being able to qualify.

Cup qualifying at 11am ET on FS1. Cars are on slick tires for dry conditions. NASCAR would tell teams what tires (dry or wet) for qualifying (it can also dictate a change during qualifying or determine it official). Two sessions: 25 minute w/top-12 to 10-min session.
