Kyle Busch car chief ejected and team loses pit stall selection for failing tech twice. They passed on third time. All other cars passed on first or second time.

Christopher Bell team did have to do some fixes to the car after the spin in the second round of qualifying so he will start from the rear Sunday.

What did everyone think about qualifying? Are the Fords set up for just qualifying or race trim? It puts them together for the draft, however, it also puts the chevys close also? Also , Beervo’s post about cautions shows how quickly the field can be narrowed down. Race trim or qualifying?
Also changes on pit road could also add to the attrition

I'm looking and picking drivers for this race just like any other SS, between drafting and the new entry to pit road anything can and probably will happen...

After seeing interviews with HMS and others this week, I think Nascar will have to change the penalties they issued this week, guess we'll see.
Sounds more like Nascar has a problem with the source of the parts...

In the driver / crew chief meeting video for today at Atlanta, a reminder was given to not shortcut the radius of Turns 3 and 4 coming to pit road. The commitment line is the entrance of Turn 3, so drivers have to use pit speed on the apron. This is similar to pitting at Bristol

If yesterdays Xfinity race is any indication of what today will be like-it could be a loooong day. 68 caution laps out of 163 (42% of the race) .
Best part of the race was when Josh Williams parked his car on the start finish line and walked away.

Tyler Reddick wasn’t feeling well this morning and the team has John Hunter Nemechek in the car right now to make sure he will be ok if needed. Reddick right now still slated to start the race.
