I feel Nascar should have left this alone, Hamlin and Chastain talked it over after the race and said all was good... JMO

More penalty news: Denny Hamlin fined $50,000 and docked 25 points for intentionally wrecking Ross Chastain at Phoenix.

kevin harvick is your new points leader.
the points deduction means all Hendrick cars other than Byron will be "must win" to make the chase because of being so far down the points ladder.
this is huge. kyle larson now has less points that cody ware.

So when picking drivers this week, do you now do it like Smashtona & Dega ??
Considering last year at Atlanta there were 19 cautions between the 2 races here, not counting stage and debris cautions...

Race #1 - 8 cautions involving 30 cars (some multiple times).. 23 cars on the lead lap at end of race..

Race #2 - 11 cautions involving 35 cars (some multiple times).. 21 cars on lead ap at end of race..
