2020 Homestead-Miami Speedway, Dixie Vodka 400

I must apologize to all of you. I missed this last race big time. This is a whole new ballgame when it comes to making predictions when there is no practice and no qualifying. Hopefully I can do better this week.

The first Charlotte race he ran well and then he was disqualified for unapproved adjustments. Then he ran pretty good again the next race. I think he should do okay this week.

What if you have Matt Kenseth as a C driver. Would you take him over Nemechek?

Matt hasn’t really run that well yet and there is a lot of racing left to go. I would wait on using him because he should only get better as the season progresses.

Thoughts on Hamlin? Needs to rebound from a couple of sub par races and is on the pole.

After seeing starting grid, do your B drivers change or do you feel there are better options?

The pole really doesn’t mean anything when they just draw for it. With no practice or qualifying I’m staying with all of my picks. This is a long enough race on a big track that anyone who has a good handling car can move up quickly from wherever they start.

Toss up between the 10 and the 24 but I’ll go with experience and say the 10.

Tough call on the first one but, I’d go with Logano. Reddick for sure on the second one.

Already used Bowman 5 times and Blaney 6… are they must starts today? Or roll with Bowyer and Newman?

There is no such thing as must starts when there is no practice or qualifying. Almirola, Busch, Johnson, Byron, Newman, Dillon are all acceptable starters.
