just a reminder, they won't have a caution at the stage breaks like they used to
they have a stage checkered flag, but no caution, so it's hammer down instead of slowing down to pit.
stage points are based on the scoring loop at the line.
they did this in the xfininty race yesterday and i liked it better.
crews chiefs will decide if it's a 2 or 3 stop race, but it takes the "stop 3 laps before the stage break" strategy out the window.
kyle busch was asked about it and said if someone is 10 seconds behind the leader all day, they'll just spin somebody to get a caution anyway to get bunched up again. LOL

for you northerners who don't know what a Buc-ees is, it's one of the biggest gas stations in the south in different citys along the interstate. we always stop there when going thru Alabama. anyway, todays pace car driver is WWE wrestler Braun Stroman and he's looking stylish in his Buc-ee the beaver logo'ed shirt at the track.

Thats the way they should do all the races. Give out points but no cautions at certain laps.

The stage break cautions do 4 things:

1--Takes actual racing laps out of the race.
2--Gives someone a free pass to get back on lead lap and wave a rounds.
3--Makes the race last longer.
4--Makes for more commercial time which=money for NASCAR.

My opinion.
