I don't think there was any doubt that HMS had fast cars today. If they made a change it sure didn't show. Elliott was the only one that appeared to struggle.

When you are going to be on the pole, you fix the car.
Buescher, Keselowski, Elliott not going to backups.
Larson, Newman, Custer, LaJoie to backups.

does anyone know exact rules for teams going to backup car?
I heard conflicting stories
1-regular backup rules
2-(what I heard on broadcast)
Teams can go to backup with stipulation that engine/drivetrain MUST be the same as Saturday’s race
If part is damaged, teams can replace but at NASCAR’s discretion or go to rear of field

Teams get 6 sets of tires for each race (can't use any of the six sets from yesterday for today). They cannot use backup cars nor change engine, radiator, transmission, caliper, housing without NASCAR approval and would go to the rear if they change those items.

No cautions to prevent car with broken trans from winning??????
Wwenascar rigged manipulated scripted as usual.
I'd say nascar keeps shooting themselves in the foot with these manipulated races but their up to the knee from shooting themselves....

I don't know about you guys (Tombo notwithstanding) but I didn't give Kyle Busch any kind of chance at winning with the transmission locked in 4th gear and no clutch. Maybe he was able to save fuel starting the car in 4th and never shifting?

Yeah manipulated LOL ... no cautions ... NASCAR got on the radio and instructed all the drivers not to wreck.
