We follow the Nascar rulz.

1. Shoot Out = high score week 1

2. The FNG - Rookie of the year - If this is your first year in this league please let us know so you can compete for rookie of the year honors. You could be awarded the a trophy for your efforts.

3. Week 36 Dead-Assed-Last Award - open to non chase finalists, lowest score week 36.

WELCOME and Good Luck!

4. The Chase

The top 15 drivers with the most wins — not points — during the 26-race regular season automatically qualify for the playoffs regardless of where they end up in the standings, provided they attempted to qualify for every race and they consistently remained in the top 30 in the standings throughout the season.

The idea is to increase the value of actually winning the races. The drivers are going after victories rather than settling for a place in the top 5 and a "good points day," a phrase that NASCAR fans were beginning to loathe.

The 16th Driver
The 16th and final spot is reserved for the championship leader after the 26th race if he doesn’t already have a win. Otherwise, the 16th spot goes to the highest winner not already in the Chase.

Playoffs Explanation
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoffs consist of 16 drivers.
Drivers automatically qualify for the playoffs with a win (as long as there are no more than 16 winners) in the first 26 races.
Any playoff positions not filled with a race winner are filled based on point standings.
There are 4 rounds of playoffs:

A win during a playoff race automatically advances the driver to the next round.
The bottom 4 drivers at the end of each round are eliminated.
The highest finishing driver at Phoenix is the Champion. Playoff drivers do not earn any stage points at Phoenix.
Playoff Points = 25pts/race, segment (Spring, Summer) win, new this year, post all star winner and new for 2024, post Clash winner.
At the end of the regular season, the points leader is awarded 25 playoff points.

As the start of the playoffs, each eligible driver's point total is reset to 2000 points, plus the total number of playoff points they earned during the regular season.

Playoff points are also awarded during each round of the playoffs.

At the start of each following round of the playoffs, the points are again reset (3000, 4000, and 5000) among eligible drivers and playoff points are added to that amount, with the exception of the Championship race at Phoenix For the championship race, the final four drivers start with 5000 points, earn no bonus points, and the highest finisher is the Champion.

And last and definately least the highly coveted "Participation Trophy" . Stick around for the whole year and you're going to be awarded for your efforts. The woke world has nothing on us. You don't have to do or win anything and get your very own trophy for just hanging out.

We follow this as close as we can, join us!

So lets have some fun, do a little trash talking, but keep it repectful, and enjoy the season.

Crash - the Commish

P.S. 5 bucks for 9 months of entertainment is one hell of a deal in my opinion!!!
