Drivers don't earn any points in qualifying, That's another reason why I believe qualifying points should be discontinued.

The race at Charlotte is 10 days from now--if it hangs around that long the whole east coast will be under water. Stay dry crash.

This race reminded me of the Indy race a few years back--cars couldn't go more than 12 laps without blowing a tire. I believe that was the last time they ran the oval.

Those that were good in practice will adjust in the race. Those that were bad --well I think they will still be bad, but I've been wrong in many races. Some will end with good scores due to things that happen during the race and some with better than they should get. In other words-- who knows.

I interpret it that there will be no qualifying points. I hope qualifying gets rained out today or there is going to be some angry people in some leagues. Next year maybe there should be no qualifying points and you just pick your 4 drivers up to a half hour before race time. No bench, just...

I did--one place says 8:00am Fri. Aug 26 and this says Sat. :unsure: Seems strange to me. Guess we will find out soon.

So this opens the door for Busch to retire at the end of this year and Ty Gibbs takes his seat, then at the end of 2023 Truex retires, Gibbs takes his seat and Reddick moves to the 23XI team. May sound crazy, but very possible.

Seems like Toyota is having some engine problems. Gibb blows engine last week and Bell and Busch problems this week.

With Busch not in races it makes the B group even weaker.

I think I should have set a new track record for the lowest score in the Bracket league with my 136. Just think Ank, if we would have been playing each other you would have won with your 166 and our drivers are all winners and in the play off. :giggle:

With finishes of 26,29,36 and 37--I don't think I'm going to advance my position in any league. On the bright side, most of the pain happened in the first 2 stages so it wasn't a slow torture. Give it another try at Richmond. Have a good week all. :) :coffee:
