I'm gonna take a wait and see approach... Like you said, his equipment could be a big issue....Hopefully he will improve as the season progresses. Give him time for his team to jell.HOWEVER, he will be limited by his equipment!

Yeah, the two best A group drivers have problems. Harvick hasn't had the best cars so far this year and Kes lost his crew chief. Hamlin has the pole and the best pit stall but he or his team have been known to find a way to screw up somehow.

Yes, that's exactly what I said ... "that Jones boy looks like he will be usable". I have no intention of using the 9 B drivers I think are the best completely and not use any others. I may never use Jones, but we'll see how it falls out over the course of the year. Heck, I figured I would use all of Almirola's starts and he is last in the B group after 5 races. He and SHR better pick up the pace.

For hotlanta I would rather have harvick over Kyle Bush plan and simple but there's a few more drivers to look at so this is really a toss-up.!?

Totally agree.... that was a sorry excuse for a race with the 51 in the lead for almost the entire race. Not one caution other than the comp caution and the stage breaks.

In the world of sports, any sport, what is missing today is what used to draw zillions of fans. In the days of Michael Jordan half the world hated the dominance he and the Bulls had and half loved them. In the days of the Cowboys dominance in the NFL, again half the country called them Americas team and half hated them. You must have a protaganist and an antagonist to pull big crowds. NASCAR is losing popularity because there is no Tony Stewart who threw helmets at opponents, Dale Senior who "Didn't mean to wreck his opponents, he just wanted to rattle their cage" right! he ran their assses into the wall to pay them back. And sorry, but we need not less Kyle Bushes in racing, but more. Trucks would not matter to your Tombo, except that Kyle raced in the race. See? JMO
