@bobpockrass Byron has a broken suspension piece. He'll get to make a qualifying lap but will have to drop to the rear for the race Sunday b/c of the fixes (it's an adjustment under impound).

if you look at 10 lap averages for practice you'd go with busch / truex / beuscher / harvick as far as the spring race earlier in the year based on DGG points... harvick 102 pts. / busch 95 / beuscher 74 / truex 63 if it's me, i'm thinking the chances of both truex and busch coming from the back...

you might want to tell us who your other B drivers are. at this point in the season, you may not have many truex starts left. can he come from the back > yes. will he > who knows, wouldn't you rather use him when he qualifies top 5 and will probably get stage points?

i'm thinking that stenhouse in the chase means always roster him until you run out of starts or he's out out of the playoffs. if he qualifies well, he'll have a chance for stage points which he'll need to keep advancing in the playoffs. setting aside stenhouse, it basically becomes gibbs versus...

it says partial lock at midnight saturday night / sunday morning TBD. probably due to the flooding from the hurricane if qualifying gets scratched. if they have qualifying, then he'll change first lock to practice / qualifying time i guess. TO BE DETERMINED.
