NASCAR Cup Series

See all of your favorite drivers in fabulous Las Vegas during the 2022 Spring NASCAR Weekend, March 4-6. The event weekend includes the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, March 6, the Alsco Uniforms 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, March 5, and the Victoria's Voice Foundation 200 presented by Westgate Resorts NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday, March 4.
Practice and qualifying for all three series is back on the schedule and the Hauler Parade returns to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip!

I don't know how anyone feels about nex gen car, but I can use two words..really suck!! From having to use a truck to pick the car up by the wheels, a very lengthy process, to trying to clean the radiator with a leaf blower:mad: 18 inch wheels really stink too. No inner liner...so don't GET a flat:cry:Can you imagine Bristol?? The Fontana race turned into mini Daytona 500:p Now imagine BRISTOL...this race will be running until the next day...JUST SAYIN:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Updated schedule for Las Vegas showing one practice for all Cup teams. One 35-minute practice (no groups). They will still single-car qualify by group. Teams probably wanted a little more time in case of spins (and if NASCAR makes any changes to cars to help flat tire situations)

NASCAR states that it will have drivers stay in their cars and be towed to pit road when they have flat tires this weekend at Las Vegas.

Small consolation for the driver. He'll still lose multiple laps while the tow truck gets hooked up. Logano's story in this article tells the story completely and I heard his rant at Daytona on Scanner. He was furious mostly because the drivers told Nascar that this was going to happen and the warnings were ignored. Ridiculous.

Nascar has definitely got to fix this issue, not good for the drivers at all or the series.... Anybody can get a flat tire at any time and there is no reason you should go laps down....
