New Hampshire radioactive - Almirola wins the 2021 race.

This is the race that it was raining and nascar didn't throw a caution until 3 of the leaders crashed on the wet pavement.

watched the SRX series last night on CBS.
they were in Pevely Mo. on Kenny Schraders 1/3 mile dirt track.
thought i'd enjoy it, but somehow they went WWE and scripted it.
Hailie Deegan was running 2nd in the main feature when a caution came out.
she started overheating with tons of mud on the grill.
right before the green flag, she came to the pits.
they kept the yellow out to let her get fixed.
the announcers said that fans came to see the stars and they would run a few extra laps under caution to get her back in the race.
probably 10 or more laps later she was was still in the pits and they still had the yellow out.
they finally had to throw the script away and go green after wasting so much time trying to get her fixed.
she eventually made it back out there after they ran laps under green.
for a few laps the leaderboard had her in 6th instead of dead last.
not sure that's a great way to broadcast a race, but they had done 2 stories on Hailie during the broadcast already.
thankfully the got a nice ending because Tony Stewart put on a smoke show and won the main feature.
if anyone knows what kind of ratings this gets, make a post about it.
the 6 race finale is next weekend. not sure if i'll watch or not.

This A & B group nonsense makes it tough for fantasy. Practice results are not always comparable between the 2 groups. I would love to see 1 hr practices for everyone every week.

I like watching the SRX series and especially when Hailie Deegan "Dirt Princess" is racing. She had a good car in the first heat but couldn't gain much in the second heat. Unfortunately she didn't tell the pit crew that the engine was overheating and pushed all the water out of the engine. This is a fun series to watch with some of the biggest names in all of racing involved. The bottom line is that it's a show, for entertainment, like all other races. As far as I know there's nothing on the line but a trophy for the winners so the drivers are out there for fun as well.
